Description

The six year olds sky blue eyes widened as she clung to her mother’s skirt tightly. Everything was so strange in this place. The ground had purple grass, and the sky itself was black with ribbons of ethereal green floating about in swirls. So this was the Ghostzone she’d only learned about it recently when her parents revealed to her the family heritage.

The thought continued to run through her mind as she glanced at the man the resembled her dad except for the glowing green eyes and snow white hair. It was still strange to her that her father was thee Danny Phantom she’d always heard about. For some reason she’d never figured it out.

“Jenny…” Came the gentle soothing voice of her father though it echoed she knew it was him. Glancing up her eyes widened as she finally got a glimpse of where they were heading.

It was a strange building covered with clocks. They moved into the middle of the room as she finally got a chance to look around she saw even more clocks, and strange viewers.

“So you came I’ve been expecting you.” Came a voice from behind. Jennifer let out a yelp once she saw the floating being.

Sam stroked her hair helping her calm down. Slowly the young fenton’s heart stopped beating so hard.

Her father smiled at her brightly distilling any more fear for the moment. “Jenny I’d like to introduce you to some one…” he gestured to the ghost with red eyes who’d spooked her earlier. “This is Clockwork he is your guardian. Say hello.”

Jennifer’s sky blue eyes stared at the large ghost. His name fit him he was covered in time pieces. “Hhh-iii.” She stammered nervously.

A rare gentle laugh came from the ghost which for some reason filled the whole room with warmth. “I’m a pleased to meet the daughter of Danny Phantom.” He looked her right in the eye. “There is a reason you are here Jennifer Renee Fenton.” The time ghost said taking on a solemn voice.

“Why?” She asked nervously.

“Jennifer I have something for you.” Out of thin air the most beautiful object appeared. It was a yellow crescent moon pendant attached to a blue ribbon. “If you come talk with me I will give this to you.”

Jennifer’s childish expression brightened as she looked at the necklace it was as if it was made just for her. Where ever could he have gotten it. She didn’t know but the necklace enticed her. Glancing at her parents they both nodded. Jenn slowly swallowed. “Promise?” He nodded, gradually she let go of her mother’s skirt. “Alright…” She walked over to him.

Gently his cape draped around them in. In an instant a dial appeared and the started to disappear. But before they did the time ghost nodded curtly at her parents. “We won’t be long.”

Sam and Danny watched as their little girl and the ghost they trust above any disappear. “Do you think he’ll be able to help her?”

“If there is anyone who can get through to her it’s Clockwork. Besides he suggested it…” Sam said leaning back against the nearby wall.

Danny smiled. “Yeah your right I think this is going to be good.”

Their middle child had been having issues with communicating with the other children she hid from everyone. She was so skittish the two of them had tried everything to help her but it seemed hopeless. Till Clockwork spoke up that he would try to reach her. Since the time ghost rarely comicated such things unless they were important.

After a few hours Jennifer came back with a smile on her face. And slowly but surely the young fenton bloomed into a confident young girl with much strength. She never revealed what Clockwork spoke to her but it was clear that he’d been able to help. From then on she always wore that moon pendant necklace she was never seen without it.

I've been thinking about doing this picture for a while. It's of Jennifer when she get's her necklace from Clockwork as explained in the bio and in the little story above.

2nd time drawing Clockwork he is not easy to draw so I apologize if he looks weird.

Jenn's young in this story so it makes sense she is so small.

Let me know what you think...
